I am thankful for the dawn that arrives each morning reminding me daily of God’s love and His promise to be light in the darkness.
Humanity is now in a dark time, passing through a wilderness that none of us could have ever imagined. I am however confident in God’s promise is that He is here and that a long as we trust in Him, we will find our way through.
I love this quote-
“When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.” —Corrie ten Boom
I trust in God to lead the my life train.
The tree photo above is from the grounds of a religious retreat center I visited last year during Lent for a day of quiet. I now find it a calm and meditative image as it reminds me that even though we cannot see it, there is life hidden deep within the tree ready to burst forth. Let there be light!
12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
